Scoresby Terraces project is a cluster of 10 terraces. Located off Stud Road service lane, the site is a consolidation of two standard residential corner lots.
There are a variety of dwellings types and sizes- 3 storey dwellings with a mix of 3 & 4 bedrooms face Stud Road, while 2 storey, 3 bedroom dwellings are located along the side street.

Dwelling entries are front street and along the internal pedestrian path while a single driveway provides car access. This site planning segregates cars and pedestrians, thereby making the place safe and accessible for its occupants- composed mainly of young families and down-sizers.
The terraces are designed with a practical hands-on approach to liveability, self-sufficiency and affordability. The majority of the dwellings have one bedroom and bathroom downstairs. All dwellings have either appropriately sized courtyards or terraces for recreational needs. Living and bedrooms spaces have large windows for plenty of daylighting and ventilation. Plenty of segregated internal storage that is deemed vital and practical. Sustainable design features such as rainwater harvesting & re-use, solar-powered electricity and hot water along with energy-efficient and low impact internal fittings are expected to create comfort and self-sufficiency.
Contemporary built-form and exterior finishes create a balanced and engaging building. The design explores the ‘buildings within a building’ idea where each dwelling has an individuality whilst being part of a larger group.
Outdoor spaces form a vital part of living- hard and soft landscaping is designed and specified to create a pleasant outdoor recreation experience.
